On the basis of my extensive cognitive-behavioural therapeutic training, I offer individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents with a whole range of psychological problems. Mindfulness exercises and elements from acceptance and commitment therapy complement the cognitive-behavioural approach. I usually include parents in the therapeutic process. Together we decide which setting and therapy will suit your child and family. Indeed, for certain problem areas, such as sleeping disorders, ADHD or obesity, focussing on collaboration with the parents has proved to be the most effective approach.
Main treatment areas:
Parents often feel helpless if their child suffers from a crisis, if nurture and devotion no longer suffice or if the child's problems spread into other systems such as school or their training environment. Parents are the ones who know their children best, so that an approach with child guidance counselling or parental training often proves to be the most successful way of changing problematic behaviour. The child is strengthened and a path is found for the whole family.
